It takes a series of get around to get kindle book on your ipod touch/iphone without jailbreaking.

Firstly, you need a US itunes account.. That’s another long story that i will not cover here.

1. Install Kindle for Iphone/Ipod by just adding the app (it is free) [Prerequiste, you are accessing the US Itunes store)

2. Buy a gift card on amazon using your singapore credit card with any amazon account (Note foreign currency charge: Master/Visa charge 0.8%, Amex a whopping 2%)

3. Open another account (ACCOUNT 2) and top using the gift card (i suppose u can use the same account, i did not try)

4. Setup a US VPN (this is to make Amazon believe you are in America) .. You can use the demo account from here (It last only 7 minutes)… i paid US1.49 for a day use, it is much faster.

IP: vpn1 to vpn9.usaip.eu (use vpn4.usaip.eu for america)
Username: demo
Password: demo

5. The first purchase they will ask for address, put VPOST Oregon address

6. Viola! your first book has been purchased

7. Open you kindle2 app on iphone/ipod, login (ACCOUNT 2), it will auto-download the books you bought!

Today, after all the overnight, finally I finished all the letters and all the slides…. Two hilarious thing happen…. we must welcome a new department in our church…. Office Administration (WORLD)… and lastly i tio suan by Pastor for making so many errors on the powerpoint. Perhaps that has always been my weakest link…haha i dun have the eye for details….heee.. I can fast, cannot accurate..i like slow and steady..heee…..

Today I made 2 quick deals…. I sold off an Ipod for $290… after acquiring the touch.. And i sold off my iPhone for $1k, after acquiring it for $458 on my house MIO Plan, And interestingly, it would have another $50 dollar, but it was a sale day at Hello! Shop…. I was five day away from being eligible to move to the MIO plan… but the manager of the shop did a great job, by letting me apply for it, while activating it at a later time … so all in all an increase of $748…. hurray

And a savings of $40 bucks for my regular house communication bills

Not that economic crisis hurts… but when is building fund time, anything that can be churn should be tap on, anything that can save on should be tighten…just as the chinese saying ”开原截流“

Airport Express

Monday, i went to ikea, and accidentally stumble on Airport Express at Courts which i have been eyeing for very long… But due to expensive price $148, and lack of bargain, i steadfastly refuse to buy. However, this evening, an email suddenly make me realised the price I saw on Monday was actually half price… $77 dollars… Without hesitation, i called my sister, let’s go man…. so she gave me a ride. And guess what, i got the very very very last piece… What so great about this device. It has three functions but unmatch in size and ease of use compared to other devices. The 3 functions are

Wireless Print Server
Music Streaming
Wireless Router

If only I come across this during my days of travel last year man…dun need to carry so many things.. Each of these function would cost you $80-200 buying 3 sepearate device, but . So this is bargain 2 for the month after my nike shoes!
